Following their historic 2-0 Test series victory over Pakistan, the Bangladesh cricket team is now focused on a two-match Test series against India, beginning in Chennai on Thursday (September 19th). While facing Rohit Sharma's India presents a different challenge, the Tigers will enter the series with high confidence and the hope of delivering a few surprises.

Mushfiqur Rahim

When it comes to experience within Bangladesh's current batting lineup, Mushfiqur Rahim stands out as a seasoned veteran.

Mushfiqur Rahim rose to the occasion in the crucial Test series against Pakistan. He anchored the Bangladesh innings with a composed 191 runs off 341 balls in the first innings of the first Test in Rawalpindi, guiding the team to a commanding 117-run lead.

Litton Das

Litton Das, the wicketkeeper-batter, will be looking to maintain his strong batting form in the upcoming Test series against India. He made a half-century in the first Test against Pakistan, followed by a brilliant 138 runs in the second Test.

In addition to his batting contributions, Das impressed with his wicketkeeping skills, registering eight catches and four stumpings in the series.

Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib Al Hasan is a skilled and experienced all-rounder known for his strategic approach. He is a formidable force with the ball, capable of taking wickets consistently. The 26-year-old off-spinner poses a significant threat to India's batting lineup.

Hasan Mahmud

Hasan Mahmud is a promising young talent in Test cricket. The 24-year-old right-arm medium pacer has shown potential to become a key player for Bangladesh. Having taken four wickets on his Test debut earlier this year, Hasan finished the Pakistan series as the third highest wicket-taker with eight scalps, including a five-wicket haul in the second Test, which was crucial in his team's series victory.
