20 airlines that have suspended flights as Iran-Israel war concerns rise, Iran-Israel tension, Middle East conflict, Air India,

Fears of a broader conflict in the Middle East have led international airlines to suspend flights to the region or avoid affected airspace.

Here are some of the airlines that have altered their services to and from the region:

Aegean Airlines The Greek airline has canceled all flights to and from Beirut, Amman and Tel Aviv until August 19.

Algeria's national airline, Air Algerie,

The Algerian airline has temporarily halted flights to and from Lebanon until further notice.

Airbaltic Latvia’s airBaltic cancelled, all flights to and from Tel Aviv until August 18.

Meanwhile, Air India, the Indian national airline,

has announced the suspension of all scheduled flights between Tel Aviv and India until further notice.

Air France-KLM, the joint venture between Air France and KLM,

has extended the suspension of flights between Paris and Beirut until August 14th.

KLM, the Dutch airline, has cancelled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until October 26th.

Budget airline Transavia has suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 31, 2025.

Cathay Pacific (0293.HK) is an airline based in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until March 27, 2025.

Delta Air Lines (DAL.N) is a major American airline.

The American airline has extended the suspension of flights between New York and Tel Aviv until August 31.

Easyjet (EZJ.L) is a low-cost airline based in the United Kingdom.

Easyjet suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv in April 2023 and will not resume flights until March 30, 2025, according to a company spokesperson.

Finnair (FIA1S.HE) is the flag carrier airline of Finland.

Finnair has chosen not to use Iranian airspace for its flight routes, which could lead to longer flight times for routes to and from Doha.

TA Airways Italy’s ITA Airways extended the suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv through August 15, it wrote on its official X account.

Lufthansa Group, which also includes Swiss Air Lines and Austrian Airlines, announced that it would avoid Iranian and Iraqi airspace and suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv, Tehran, Beirut, Amman and the Iraqi city of Erbil through August 21.

Ryanair

Europe’s biggest budget airline cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv until August 26 citing “operational restrictions”.

SunExpress Airlines, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines (THYAO.IS) and Lufthansa, has cancelled all flights to Beirut until August 14.

Singapore Airlines (SIAL.SI) has announced flight disruptions.

The Singaporean airline has ceased flights over Iranian airspace and is utilizing alternate routes.

Tarom, Romania's national airline

Romania’s flag carrier extended the suspension of flights to Tel Aviv, Amman and Beirut until August 16.

United Airlines (UAL.O) has suspended flights to Tel Aviv.

The Chicago-based carrier halted flights to Tel Aviv indefinitely. Previously, they suspended daily service between Newark, New Jersey and Tel Aviv on July 31 due to security concerns.

Vueling, a Spanish low-cost airline owned by IAG (ICAG.L), has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv and Amman until October 26.

Lebanese Airspace is on Alert

Britain advised UK airlines not to enter Lebanese airspace from August 8 until November 4 citing “potential risk to aviation from military activity”.
