2 Americans among missing passengers from sunken superyacht

LONDON -- Two Americans are among those still missing after a superyacht sank off the coast of Sicily on Monday,
has confirmed.

Christopher and Neda Morvillo are among six individuals still unaccounted for who were on board the British-flagged Bayesian vessel that sank during a severe storm.

Morvillo is a partner at the law firm Clifford Chance and represented the yacht's owner, British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch, in his recent fraud case filed by Hewlett Packard. Morvillo is a former assistant United States attorney for the Southern District of New York .

The search for the six missing individuals from the Bayesian resumed Tuesday morning. Among those potentially trapped inside the vessel are Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah.

Some of the 15 individuals who were rescued are either still recovering or have now been released from the hospital.
