Snoop Dogg spent much of the 2024 Olympics contributing to NBC’s Games coverage, and in proper form helped bring them to an end with a performance during the closing ceremony.

The rapper delivered a rousing rendition of “Drop It Like It’s Hot” on the L.A. beach, set against a backdrop of elaborate sandcastles. He was then joined by Dr. Dre on a nearby stage for an electrifying performance of their iconic hit “The Next Episode.” Their performance was part of a star-studded lineup that included Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and H.E.R., paying homage to Snoop Dogg's Long Beach roots, the city set to host the 2028 Olympics.

Snoop was on hand from the very start of the Olympics, carrying the torch on its final leg towards Paris. He ran through the streets of Saint-Denis, a north Paris suburb home to the Stade de France Olympic Stadium.
