Margot Robbie ‘s next movie, “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” will be released on the big screen in 2025.

Sony Pictures, responsible for distributing the film, has added it to its release schedule for Mother's Day weekend, May 9th.

“A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” co-stars Colin Farrell and is described as “an imaginative tale of two strangers and the extraordinary emotional journey that connects them.” Lily Rabe, Jodie Turner-Smith, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Hamish Linklater also star in this romantic fantasy film. Kogonada (“Pachinko,” “After Yang”) directed the film based on a script by “The Menu” screenwriter Seth Reiss.

30West is providing financial support for “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.” Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas, and Ryan Friedkin of Imperative Entertainment will serve as producers alongside Reiss and Youree Henley. Executive producers include Kogonada, Ilene Feldman, and Ori Eisen.

When Sony Pictures acquired the film in February, the studio’s motion picture group chairman Tom Rothman described it as “a project from heaven.”

“Occasionally, I encounter a script so exceptional and unique that I'm captivated until the very last page, filled with inspiration and upliftment,” Rothman remarked at the time. “We believe that audiences are yearning for originality, and we are honored and grateful to all involved for giving us this opportunity.”
