'Industry' Shifts to Post-'Penguin' Slot for Remainder of Season 3

The concluding two episodes of “ Industry ” Season 3 are experiencing a shift in their broadcast times, at least on traditional television.
Episodes seven and eight of the third season of “Industry” will remain accessible for streaming on Max at the usual 9 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 22 and Sept. 29. However, on HBO itself, the episodes will not air until 10 p.m., immediately following the premiere of the new DC miniseries “The Penguin.”
“The Penguin,” which stars Colin Farrell in a reprisal of his role from Matt Reeves’ film “The Batman,” will make its official debut on Thursday, Sept. 19. An encore of the series premiere will air at 9 p.m. on Sept. 22 as well, with the eight-episode show airing on Sundays at 9 p.m. thereafter.

“Industry” Season 3, the captivating British-American series, graced HBO and Max on Aug. 11. The show has consistently gained popularity since its inception. HBO recently revealed that the season premiere garnered an estimated 300,000 viewers across all platforms, marking a significant increase of roughly 60% compared to Season 2's premiere and a substantial 88% jump from the series premiere in 2020.
The stellar ensemble cast of “Industry” includes Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel, and Irfan Shamji. Adding to the star-studded lineup are Kit Harington and Sarah Goldberg, along with Miriam Petche, Andrew Havill, Roger Barclay, Fady Elsayed, and Fiona Button.
The series was brought to life by the creative minds of Mickey Down & Konrad Kay, who served as writers and executive producers. “Industry” is a Bad Wolf Production for HBO/BBC, with executive producers Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther, and Ryan Rasmussen for Bad Wolf, and Rebecca Ferguson for BBC. Behind the camera, a talented team of directors, including Down, Kay, Isabella Eklöf, and Zoé Wittock, have brought the series to life.
