'Friends' Game Show to Be Hosted by Whitney Cummings

One of the major highlights of watching the upcoming “ Friends ” game show? Whitney Cummings is the host.
The comedian has been chosen to lead Max's four-part fan competition series “ Fast Friends ,” which will feature passionate fans of the sitcom battling it out in various trivia, puzzles, and games themed around the show.
“As a longtime fan of ‘Friends,’ I am beyond thrilled to host the first ever game show. After 30 years, the fandom surrounding this beloved series only continues to grow, and now I have the great pleasure of awarding the ultimate fans with bragging rights for life,” Cummings said in a statement.

Production on the show begins in October and will be filmed inside The “Friends” Experience: The One in New York, a two-story, 17,000 square-foot attraction filled with 18 nostalgic rooms, interactive experiences, and recreated sets.
From the familiar settings of Rachel and Monica’s apartment, Joey and Chandler’s bachelor pad, and the iconic Central Perk, fans will relive their favorite moments while being challenged in this new quiz show.
Cummings is a comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, entrepreneur, and host of the “Good for You” podcast. She created and starred in the NBC sitcom “Whitney” and co-created and co-wrote the Emmy-nominated series “2 Broke Girls.” In 2017, she published her memoir “I’m Fine… And Other Lies,” and made her directorial debut with the feature film adaptation of Louann Brizendine's bestselling book “The Female Brain.”
“Fast Friends” is a production of Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon. Dan Sacks, Bridgette Theriault and Dan Norris serve as executive producers, with Richard Burgio as co-executive producer.
The iconic sitcom “Friends”, starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, premiered on NBC in 1994 and quickly became a global phenomenon.
