Audity , an audio company under unscripted media business Asylum Entertainment Group, has partnered with WNBA players Kelsey Plum and Aliyah Boston , as well as Olympic skiing champion Mikaela Shiffrin , for a new “audio experience” dubbed “ Coach .” Coach is currently in development in collaboration with the athletes and will serve as an experiential brand that offers listeners access to a selection of customized coaching audio content, which it notes will not be a podcast.

Coach will offer personal insights and motivation from elite athletes, “sharing their experience on and off the court in the context of performance, mindset and story through audio.”

“Coach is being designed to become a game-changing force within the audio business ecosystem, as well as for today’s generation of athletes,” says Chris Corcoran, general manager and chief content officer of Audity. “I’m extremely honored and excited to partner with Kelsey, Aliyah and Mikaela, each of whom will resonate powerfully across all facets of the vision.”

Olympic gold medalist Plum, Boston and Shiffrin will create and develop content, recruit other athletes, collaborate with sponsors and help grow the platform while also serving as coaches in the project.

“This is a remarkable opportunity to inspire the next generation of athletes,” said Boston, 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year and two time WNBA all-star from the Indiana Fever. “Through Coach, we’re not just coaching skills; we’re sharing the mindset required to overcome challenges and succeed at the highest level.”

“Coach is about more than just providing advice,” explained Plum, a player for the Las Vegas Aces. “It’s about sharing the journey—the triumphs and challenges—that have shaped who we are today. I’m excited to connect with people on such a personal level and help them unleash their inner champion.”

Mikaela Shiffrin, renowned as the most decorated World Cup skier in history, stated: “There’s nothing like this available. This goes beyond simply listening; it's about feeling, learning, and personal growth. It's about the connection people forge when they feel like they’re right there with us, every step of the way, as we push ourselves and you to be the best we can be.”

Audity was recently behind Kim Kardashian’s criminal justice podcast “The System: The Case of Kevin Keith,” as well as the eight-episode “Hillsong: A Megachurch Shattered,” a companion to Discovery+’s “Hillsong: A Megachurch Exposed.” Corcoran recently took on oversight of Audity, having previously been a founding partner and chief content officer of podcast company Cadence13.
